Souper Bowl Party Big Success!

Thank you for making the Association Souper Bowl Party such a great success. There were approximately 400 attending with volunteers helping from 24 of our churches and 9 churches outside our association. Many other churches assisted by donating food, blankets, gloves, hats, etc. Thank you so much for your participation!!

Toy Project Touches Many Lives

In September of 2007 Emilio Zapata, wife Nirma and daughter Anita immigrated to the Lexington/Nicholasville area to start ministries in both cities. Six churches from Elkhorn Baptist Association sponsor this work. The churches are Brookside Baptist, East Hickman Baptist, Edgewood Baptist, Nicholasville Baptist and Thoroughbred Community Church all of Nicholasville and Trinity Baptist Church of Lexington. These churches had a joint ordination service for Emilio on February 2nd at Nicholasville Baptist Church. Guests came from as far away as Western Arkansas to participate in this historic occasion.
